To get paid sooner, act before the due date: written payment terms on every quote, a deposit at order, immediate invoicing, easy payment methods, and automatic reminders from D+7. Consistency does more than firmness.

Write your terms — and repeat them

A respected term starts with a term written in black and white: on the quote, on the invoice, and repeated out loud. “Payment within 30 days” beats vagueness, which invites delay.

Ask for a deposit at order

A 30% deposit commits the customer and secures your cash before you even start. It’s the norm in many trades; no deposit, on the other hand, is a gamble.

Invoice the same day, not at month-end

Every day between delivery and the invoice is a day of delay you give away. Invoicing immediately — or converting an accepted quote in one click — mechanically shortens the term.

Make paying easy

The easier it is to pay, the faster you’re paid: visible IBAN, exact amount, clear reference. Every bit of friction you remove is a day gained.

Automate the reminders

Most delays are settled at the first reminder — provided it goes out. A D+7 / D+15 / D+30 schedule that runs on its own removes the oversight and the awkwardness.

See who owes you what, every morning

You only chase well what you can see. Up-to-date balances and a morning reminder of overdue invoices turn follow-up into a reflex.
